The company reached no. 163 in the comprehensive category by working with Guangdong Precious Metal Trading Center (GDPMTC) and Netease, a gigantic Internet enterprise. While staying atop in their specific niches (the precious metal industry and Internet industry), GDPMTC and Netease have for the first time joined hands to have an amalgamation of the Internet and Precious Metal surface.
Being the only precious metal trading platform at provincial level in Guangdong and funded by the State-owned Assets Supervision & Administration Commission of the People's Government of Guangdong, GDPMTC has taken relevant steps to move ahead which include setting up procedures regarding precious metal practitioner qualification accreditation, and precious metal occupational aptitude and qualification accreditation as well as training precious metal investors among others. The aim is to standardize the metal industry and follow the concept of ‘Operate in Compliance with Laws and Regulations’. And so far, these changes have been met favorably by most investors.
Additionally, up to now, Netease has performed rather well in various areas such as web portal, game and music platforms among others. During the process, the company has accumulated massive customer resources and provided them with excellent experience. Consequently, both companies agreed on providing safe options to investors which involves proper security as well as standardized and accessible precious metal transactions.
The two companies followed the Internet + Action Plan of Guangdong (2015~2020) issued in September 2015 that explicitly recommended companies to rely on China (Guangdong) Free Trade Experimental Zone and the regional financial centers of Guangzhou and Shenzhen to promote the mode of Internet + Modern Finance. It recommends companies to cultivate new Internet financial service forms such as P2P network loaning, Internet payment and supply-chain finance etc. Therefore, considering those recommendations, GDPMTC joined hands with Netease to substantially transform the traditional precious metal industry in the future by employing each other’s resources.
